EVA DOLGYRA - Born and raised in Athens, Greece. Graduated in 2011 from the Glasgow School of Art, with a BA(Hons) in Visual Communication.

Now based in Glasgow, working as a Graphic Designer by day and Freelance Illustrator by night.

My influences cover a wide spectrum both thematically and geographically, with a particular fondness for themes touching on the strange, the bizarre and the imaginary.

Often reflected in my work is my soft spot for traditional printmaking; however I believe there is a right tool for each job and enjoy using my laptop just as much as I do a chisel.

White Noise was a Live Art Installation organised by the fabulous miss Betty of Betty Spoke.

"Betty Spoke constructs custom tailoring for individuals that demand attitude, finesse and quality. Specialised in luxury suiting, original street style and innovative evening wear, Betty designs & hand drafts garments in accordance to each individual client.
Combining an artistic expression with superb attention to detail, her bold & inspiring creations are essential for any fashion-forward individual".

For the event, eight artists -myself included- were given free rein to go sharpie-mad on Betty's lovely white dresses! It was a truly fun day, with good music and great banter throughout!
